Please note: All returns/cancellations will be refunded to your account as a store credit.

We accept returns and exchanges for products and gunsmithing kits (not yet in production) purchased directly from us within 30 days of the date of purchase. After that period of time, you will only be eligible to return the item for store credit.  To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as received and in the original packaging. We only accept returns for items purchased  through


  • After we issue a refund, it may take 3-10 business days to see credit minus shipping back to your original method of payment.
  • If you purchase an item during a sale, or if you use a coupon code, you will receive a refund based on the sale price. Not exactly retail.
  • If you would like to exchange an item, you will need to complete the returns process, not place a new order. If you place a new order, the original order will be charged a credit card processing fee as a refund.

To send an item for an exchange or return:

As long as you meet the above requirements, you can send the item back to us. Please include a note inside your return/exchange package stating your contact information and the reason for returning the item.

  • * Damaged magazine bodies will not be refunded *
  • All firearm sales are final.

We do not accept cancellations for gunsmithing packages that have received modifications.


If the refund is approved , your refund will be processed according to your original payment method. Refunds take 3-10 business days to process.  Other arrangements can be made on a case by case basis.

If your refund appears to be delayed or lost, please follow these steps in order:

  1. Check the account for your original payment method.
  2. If your refund has not been sent, please contact your bank or credit card company. 
  3. When steps 1 and 2 do not solve your problem to your satisfaction, please contact us at

Products received as gifts may only be returned to  the original purchaser All returns or exchanges must be new and unused and still in their original packaging. Gift certificates are not eligible for refunds. Please see shipping information above/below.

* Stripped Set Screws will not be accepted for returns or exchanges unless otherwise proven to be a manufacturing defect. *

Customers are responsible for paying shipping costs for returns and exchanges. Shipping charges on the original order are non-refundable.

If the return or exchange is of great value, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

How to return an exchange/return

If you need to return a product under our policy, shipping costs are at the customer's expense and are non-refundable. We recommend that you pack your product properly and use a traceable insured service as we are not responsible for items damaged or lost in return shipping.

If I return an item, will you refund the shipping cost?

If  an order is deemed damaged/defective (picture required), we may cover shipping costs and provide a return label. Please contact us at for assistance!

Can I receive a refund if the price changes?

Unfortunately, we are unable to honor any promotions for orders placed outside the promotion period as this would be unfair to our other customers. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding!

What happens to my refund if my card account is closed?

We apologize for this issue! At this time, we can only refund the order to the original point of purchase. If the card account is closed, we may offer a store credit to cover your purchases.

Warranty Information

Talan Tactical is not responsible for: 

  • Use of defective or improper ammunition, corrosion, neglect, abuse, ordinary wear or unreasonable use. 
  • Defects or malfunctions resulting from careless handling, unauthorized adjustments or modifications made or attempted in accordance with correct procedures by anyone other than a qualified Talan Tactical gunsmith.
  • Criminal Abuse or Negligence. 

Products and Accessories:   Talan Tactical provides the original purchaser with  a limited warranty on Talan Tactical products and accessories for one year from the date of purchase .

Some things that will void your warranty include: re-anodizing our products, sand blasting or tightening/loosening the setscrews on our magazine extensions. If you believe you have voided your warranty, please contact us for further evaluation.
